The Nike Air Max 1 comes constructed in a mix of textile mesh, tumbled leather, and suede materials. While Sail covers most of its upper Obsidian appears on the suede mudguard overlays and leather Swoosh logos. Other notable details includes Rugged Orange contrasting accents for a nice added pop of color. A new style “NIKE” branding appears on the tongues labels with two-tone embroidery on the heels. A Sail midsole atop a tricolored rubber outsole completes the design.
